Employment for Covert Operators in the commercial sector is rapidly on the increase with the volatile state of global affairs and indeed, even to the private individual. Previous recruitment sources were traditionally from the SAS, 14INT, J/CUN, E4A, MI5 and the police.

However, demand today far outstrips supply and the PBA has for some considerable time been training students to fill the void. Covert work even in the commercial sector can be very demanding and often dangerous – therefore, students must be prepared to work long hours on their course with a view to becoming operational at the end of it.
